Job Summary
The Boutique / Retail Shop Sales Agent is responsible for welcoming guests, advising them on products, and driving sales while ensuring a high-quality customer experience within the boutique.
Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Reception & Service
- Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests
- Identify customer needs and assist them throughout their purchasing journey
- Ensure a smooth and pleasant customer experience
2. Sales & Advisory
- Advise customers and promote boutique products
- Drive sales by offering tailored recommendations
- Build customer loyalty through excellent service
3. Boutique Operations
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales area
- Support product display and visual merchandising
- Handle cashiering and payment transactions
4. Product Knowledge
- Develop strong knowledge of products and collections
- Provide accurate and relevant information to customers
5. Standards & Quality
- Follow company procedures and service standards
- Ensure consistent service quality at all times
Education
- High school diploma or degree in Sales, Business, Hospitality, or a related field
Experience
- 1–2+ years of experience in retail, boutique, or hospitality
- Experience in a premium or luxury environment is a plus
Skills
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to advise and influence customer decisions
- Attention to detail and presentation
- Basic cashiering and sales handling knowledge
- Fluency in French & English
