Job Description
Main Duties:
Administration
- Statutory Requirements: Ensure that all departmental statutory requirements are adhered to by the entire Rooms Division.
- Ensure that all departmental records are maintained as per standards
- Liaise with Operations Manager on matters concerning the Front Office, Housekeeping & security such as monthly reports, budgets and relevant updates.
Customer Service
- Track Guest Satisfaction scores on a monthly basis and highlight areas of deficiency
- Ensures guest satisfaction is met and consistently strive for excellence as per Ibis service standards.
- Meet with guests on a regular basis to ascertain their views on services of the hotel.
- Track A Club and Advantage Plus enrolments
Financial
- Assist Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry meet their revenue budgets and work within the expense budget guidelines.
- To maximize revenues and optimize resources.
- Preparation and implementation of annual budgets.
- Develop and manage sustainable plans and programs to ensure profitability
Operational
- Assist in the preparation & review of the Rooms Division P&P’s and JD’s.
- Ensure that all the Brand Standards are followed.
- Monitor and control the inventories for operating equipment and supplies.
- To track the guest satisfaction level and ensure that the processes are in place.
- Pre-opening procedures to be implemented
- Ensuring redressal of any associate complaints / issues
Ensures maintenance of hygiene standards & safety and security of guests in the hotel.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
