Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha, Qatar. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay by maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our guest rooms and public areas.
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities
- Maintain the cleanliness of guest corridors, public areas, and service areas
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests
- Handle and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Collect and remove dirty linens, trash, and recyclables from guest rooms
- Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the appropriate department
- Collaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure efficient operations
- Adhere to safety and security procedures at all times
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
- Maintain guest privacy and protect their personal belongings
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience required; hotel cleaning experience highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods
- Understanding of proper chemical usage and manual handling techniques
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for guest satisfaction
- Basic English language proficiency required
- Familiarity with Qatar's hospitality industry is a plus
