Room Attendant

SO/ is a coveted collection of hotels rooted in the world of fashion, commanding attention with it’s avant garde design and creative approach to the world of luxury. SO/ Auckland is located in the heart of Auckland's CBD. With views of the Waitematā Harbour and city, across 16 floors and 130 design-led rooms.

We are currently look for Room Attendants who are hands on and have a keen eye for detail to help us deliver the best Guest Experience! We welcome you to join us in the front row at SO/ Auckland and become a part of Accor's lifestyle brand collective Ennismore!

THE ROLE

• Clean & service all allocated rooms and public spaces to brand standards
• Attention to detail, ensuring our guests arrive into a high-level of room cleanliness
• Carry out programmed / regular cleaning duties as allocated
• Use and clean equipment with care, reporting any defective equipment as set down in procedures manual - adhere to chemical handling and manual handling procedures
• Assist with regular equipment stocktaking
• Turndown service of rooms - replenish amenities for guest areas
• Work with the other departments in the hotel to help deliver the best and most memorable guest experience

THE PERSON

• Approachable, accommodating, and upbeat! You enjoy working in a team environment and helping others and can take ownership 
• Commitment to adhering to health & safety procedures and policies, making sure to foster a safe work environment
• High attention to detail and a passion for providing exceptional service
• A team player who is reliable and committed 
• Ability to work a rotational roster including weekends and overnight 
• Legal working rights to work in New Zealand. Please be advised that this role does not qualify for sponsorship.
