Job Description
Hyde Dubai is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and memorable stay by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our guest rooms and public areas.
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms
- Replenish guest amenities, linens, and supplies in rooms and bathrooms
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to supervisors
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new procedures
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or room attendant experience in a hotel setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic English language proficiency
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety protocols
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Passion for hospitality and creating positive guest experiences
