Pullman Luang Prabang is the biggest resort in Luang Prabang with 123 spacious rooms. Each room features lofty vaulted ceilings and streamlined design, complimentary wi-fi, and a furnished balcony that looks out onto views of rice paddy fields. Pullman Luang Prabang features a vast lakefront all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge and cool pool bar that serves a mix of international and local dishes with ingredients sourced from the resort's own organic farm.


Job Description

The Revenue Manager reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for optimizing room revenue through effective pricing strategies, maintaining rate parity across all channels, and managing hotel inventory. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the smooth operation of the Reservations Department.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the hotel’s leadership team to develop budgets, long-term strategies, and short-term tactics to drive revenue and maximize profit.
  • Work closely with the General Manager, and Director of Sales & Marketing to meet budgeted and forecasted revenue targets through trend recognition, demand forecasting, and opportunity analysis.
  • Forecast by market segment and daily trends to identify key opportunities, and communicate these to sales and operations teams.
  • Generate reports and insights to support and evaluate the hotel’s business strategies.

 What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Revenue Manager with a background in front office and/or reservations in a large hotel environment.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to recommend budgeting strategies for revenue maximization.
  • Demonstrated leadership and engagement skills in the field of revenue management.
  • Experience with STR and a proven ability to drive market performance.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Opera.
  • Ability to identify market trends and implement effective real-time strategies.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and business partnering skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze statistics and communicate key insights to stakeholders, including ownership.

Qualifications

 

  • Graduate or post-graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in Front Office and/or Reservations is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Opera On-Premise or Opera Cloud systems.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
