Along with 190 guest rooms, we offer our guests and visitors a fully equipped conference centre with multiple function spaces, restaurant and lounge bar.

We are looking for our next superstar Reservations Team Member - as our part-time Reservations Supervisor you will report directly to our Revenue Manager and help her lead our small team of Reservations Agents.  This role is paid at the award rate of $28.87 per hour plus penalties on weekends and public holidays and you must have working rights in Australia to be considered.


Job Description

You are the beginning of an exceptional guest experience. As our Reservations Supervisor, you will be the first point of contact for our hotel, guiding guests in the booking process and day to day guest relations. As the supervisor you will be the lead member of the team so a good knowledge of reservations and booking systems is essential.

Your role will include but is not limited to

Making and amending bookings
Managing group bookings, including quotes, contracts, payments and more
Liaising with new potential guests, group agents or companies
Working with the other departments within the hotel to ensure delivery of excellent guest experiences
Managing the day-to-day needs of the department alongside the Revenue Manager

What you will be doing
Consistently offer exceptional, friendly and engaging service
Ensure the best selection for the guest and ensure revenue is maximized through up-selling
Recommend property facilities and assist guests with information and special requests
Book room reservation requests, enter rooming lists, and update accurate information in the system
Support and develop our small team of Reservations Agents


Qualifications

  • Previous experience within a similar role prefereed, however, if you are an experienced Reservations Agent (2+ years) ready for the next step, we would like to hear from you
  • Knowledge of the RMS system is an advantage, but not essential
  • Confidence with dealing with incoming calls/emails in a busy environment
  • Experience in a supervisory role is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Availability to work at least 2-3 days per week, including Saturday
  • Fluency in English - additional languages are a plus
