Located in the heart of Cairns City, our hotel features 324 elegantly appointed rooms, 18 versatile meeting and event spaces, Coco’s Kitchen & Bar, and in-room dining services.

We are currently seeking a guest-focused and results-driven Reservation Sales Agent to join our team. In this role, you will drive revenue performance while delivering an exceptional first impression, ensuring every guest’s journey begins with professionalism, warmth and efficiency.


Job Description

Delivering a Five-Star Experience Every Step of the Way

We are seeking a motivated and sales-driven Reservation Sales Agent to support hotel performance and create exceptional first impressions for our guests. In this role, you will drive revenue performance while delivering an exceptional first impression, ensuring every guest’s journey begins with professionalism, warmth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue through upselling and cross-selling to enhance guest experiences and optimise hotel performance
  • Respond to phone calls and emails with professionalism, delivering personalised and efficient service
  • Accurately process guest reservations and maintain information with attention to detail
  • Handle guest enquiries and concerns with courtesy and professionalism, ensuring positive resolutions
  • Monitor rates and promotions to capitalise on all sales opportunities

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about growth and development, and who are committed to making a meaningful impact within our team. If you're driven to elevate the guest experience and contribute to the success of a premier 5-star hotel, we want to hear from you.To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a Front Office or Reservations position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with Opera Cloud experience highly regarded
  • A genuine service mindset, with exceptional attention to detail
  • The confidence to work independently, take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to connect with guests and colleagues alike
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
