Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Reservation Associate to join our dynamic team in Chennai, India. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our reservation operations, delivering exceptional customer service while managing bookings with precision and care. As a Reservation Associate, you'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your organizational skills and customer-focused approach will directly impact guest satisfaction and business success.   • Process and manage customer reservations accurately using reservation management systems, ensuring all details are captured correctly and efficiently
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat with professionalism and warmth, providing comprehensive information about availability, pricing, and services
  • Analyze booking patterns and customer preferences to support sales goals and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of all reservations, modifications, and cancellations while adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve conflicts with empathy and transparency, escalating complex issues to supervisors when necessary
  • Coordinate with other departments including operations, housekeeping, and management to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Perform data entry tasks with meticulous attention to detail, minimizing errors and maintaining database integrity
  • Multitask effectively during peak periods, prioritizing reservations and customer requests to meet deadlines and service standards
  • Stay flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, seasonal demands, and evolving business needs
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and sharing best practices for continuous improvement

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in reservation services, customer service, or hospitality industry
  • Proficiency with reservation systems and computer applications; ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze situations and find effective solutions
  • Customer service excellence with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction
  • Time management and organizational skills to prioritize workload efficiently
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) or Central Reservation Systems (CRS)
  • Multilingual abilities (regional languages preferred)
  • Certification or training in hospitality or travel industry
  • Knowledge of the hospitality, travel, or entertainment sector
  • Sales-oriented mindset with experience in upselling or cross-selling
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role in a corporate environment
  • Familiarity with Chennai's local market and business environment
