Regional Director of Revenue

Luxury & Lifestyle

Company Description

We’re looking for an experienced Regional Director of Revenue to join our team and help shape the commercial success of five Hoxton hotels across the region. Reporting to the VP of Revenue and working closely with our General Managers, you’ll set the revenue strategy, champion The Hoxton’s approach to revenue management and make sure we’re always making smart, insight led decisions. You’ll lead and develop the Revenue Management teams across the properties, while also overseeing our London based Cluster Reservations team, bringing everyone together behind one clear commercial vision.

Job Description

What’s in it for you…

  • The opportunity to join an innovative, fast-growing international group that’s not just opening new hotels, but building a global brand.
  • The chance to challenge the norm and do things differently in an environment that’s both creative and rewarding.
  • You’ll become part of a passionate team that loves creating great hospitality experiences and exploring new places whenever the opportunity comes along.
  • A competitive salary, plus eligibility to participate in our discretionary bonus scheme.
  • 25 days’ holiday, plus bank holidays, along with a pension, life insurance and family private medical cover.
  • A health cash plan that lets you claim money back on everyday healthcare costs, with plenty of additional support for your physical and mental wellbeing.
  • It’s OK not to be OK. You’ll have access to a confidential support hotline, whatever you might need help with, as well as our network of trained Mental Health First Aiders.
  • Plenty of retail and hospitality perks through our partners, because everyone deserves to treat themselves once in a while.
  • A free night at The Hoxton and a meal for two when you first join us.
  • It goes without saying, but we’ll feed you when you’re on site.
  • Excellent discounts across the Ennismore family for you and your nearest and dearest - and you can continue enjoying them even if you decide to leave us!
  • A free night at The Hoxton every year, plus a little extra £££ when you reach those big milestones.
  • Lots of opportunities to grow, progress or switch things up as part of a global family of brands.
  • Training to help you settle into your role, learning academies to broaden your skills and development opportunities that help you think, make and thrive at work.
  • Extra time off to volunteer with one of our partner charities and make a positive impact in the community.
  • Regular team get-togethers, from team drinks to our pretty special bi-annual parties - we know how to have a good time!
  • Enhanced family leave for when you’re expanding your family.
  • An annual diversity and inclusion calendar packed with opportunities to learn, celebrate and make a positive impact.

What you'll do...

  • With the support of the hotel Revenue Management teams, you’ll take ownership of the revenue strategy across your region. Working closely with our General Managers and Directors of Sales, you’ll turn the wider commercial vision into clear, actionable plans that grow revenue across every segment. You’ll keep a close eye on performance, spot opportunities and adjust course when needed to keep us on track.
  • You’ll lend your expertise to other hotels across the region, supporting them with revenue, sales and marketing processes, systems, pricing, strategy and reporting.
  • Collaboration is a big part of the role. You’ll regularly bring together Revenue Management, General Managers, Sales, Brand and Digital teams to make smart, joined-up decisions across market segments and distribution channels.
  • You’ll lead the Reservations function across the region, looking for new and better ways of working while taking ownership of recruitment, team leadership, performance and development, as well as the smooth running of the day-to-day operation.
  • You’ll coach and develop our property-based revenue leaders and wider commercial teams, helping them grow their confidence, capability and commercial thinking.
  • You’ll create a culture where people work together, take ownership and are focused on delivering great results.
  • You’ll keep a close eye on the numbers and the story behind them, identifying key trends across pace, group pace, booking windows, booking channels and more, and clearly setting out the actions we’re taking in response.
  • You’ll own the delivery of our rooms revenue goals, including budget and RevPAR Index, with a particular focus on growing direct web bookings and improving profitability.
  • You’ll support our revenue leaders in preparing monthly forecasts, including a daily breakdown of occupancy, rate and market segment mix, while continually reviewing performance against forecast.
  • Together with the hotel Revenue Management teams, HODs and regional teams, you’ll prepare and present monthly rooms revenue performance to our owners.
  • You’ll play a key role in property performance reviews with asset managers and owners, confidently talking through results, opportunities and actions.
  • You’ll support the preparation of each hotel’s annual revenue budget, keep performance under regular review and communicate with owners as needed throughout the year.
  • You’ll stay curious about what’s happening around us, keeping an eye on competitor activity, revenue management practices, new hotel developments and the local demand drivers shaping each market.
  • Together with your team, you’ll bring the local market knowledge and commercial insight that help keep The Hoxton one step ahead.
  • You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with our third-party partners, including OTA market managers.
  • You’ll oversee channel management across the local Revenue teams, making sure rates and inventory are loaded accurately and managed effectively.
  • Together with your team, you’ll look after the Revenue Management System, validating forecasts, reviewing the decisions it produces and making sure its configuration and ongoing maintenance support the best possible commercial outcomes.
  • You’ll support the technical onboarding of new systems and tools across the region, getting hands-on with set-up, testing, training and troubleshooting so that teams feel confident using them and get the most from them.
  • When a Revenue Management leader is away or a role is temporarily vacant, you’ll make sure the hotel has the right revenue support in place—keeping strategy, pricing, forecasting and reporting moving without missing a beat.
  • You’ll keep pushing us forward across revenue and distribution, exploring smarter ways of working (including AI-enabled analysis, automation and reporting) to improve accuracy, speed and commercial performance.

Qualifications

What we're looking for...

  • You’ll bring significant hotel revenue management experience, ideally with responsibility for multiple properties or a wider region.
  • You know your way around pricing, distribution, forecasting and commercial strategy, and can turn all that data into clear decisions that make a real difference to performance.
  • You’ll have experience working within lifestyle, luxury or international hotel environments and understand what it takes to balance strong commercial performance with a distinctive guest experience.
  • You’re confident influencing senior stakeholders, challenging thinking when needed and bringing people with you (not simply telling them what the numbers say).
  • You have strong analytical and financial acumen, with an eye for the detail without losing sight of the bigger commercial picture.
  • You’re comfortable with revenue management systems, market intelligence platforms and hotel technology, and you’re always curious about how new tools and smarter ways of working could help us do things better.
  • You’re a clear and engaging communicator, a confident presenter and a supportive leader who gets the best out of people.
  • You thrive in a fast moving, entrepreneurial environment where plans can change, opportunities appear quickly and everyone is expected to roll up their sleeves.
  • You’re collaborative, open-minded and happy to leave your ego at the door. You’ll work across teams, functions and hotels to find the best answer for the business (not just your own area).
  • You’re comfortable challenging the norm, asking “why?” and trying something new when there’s a smarter way forward.
  • Most importantly, you’ll be yourself. No clones in suits for us. We want someone with personality, good judgement and their own point of view, someone who takes the work seriously, without taking themselves too seriously.
