We’re looking for a Reception Superstar who’s fun, friendly, and brilliant with guests. You’ll be the very first face people see when they walk through our doors, the one who makes them feel like they’ve just arrived somewhere special.

What you’ll be doing (with a smile, of course!):

  • Giving the warmest of welcomes to every guest, every time

  • Checking people in and out like a pro smooth, fast, and stress-free

  • Handling questions, requests, and the occasional challenge with charm and confidence

  • Answering calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with personality and professionalism

  • Teaming up with other departments to make magic happen for our guests

  • Keeping the reception area tidy, welcoming, and ready for its close-up

  • Processing payments accurately (because you’re as good with numbers as you are with people)

  • Sharing insider tips on local attractions, events, and all the best Brighton has to offer

What we’re looking for:

  • A people person who’s naturally positive and loves to chat

  • Someone who thrives on delivering amazing customer service every guest, every time

  • A team player who can keep calm and smiling even when things get busy

  • An eye for detail and pride in doing things right

Qualifications

What makes you our perfect fit:

  • You live and breathe great customer service: friendly, approachable, and always ready to help

  • You’re a natural communicator who can connect with anyone, from anywhere, at any time

  • You can juggle tasks like a pro and keep calm when things get busy

  • You notice the little things that make a big difference for guests

  • Comfortable with computers (and if you know OPERA Cloud, that’s a bonus!)

  • Previous reception, hotel, or customer service experience? Fantastic but your personality matters most

  • Quick thinker with the confidence to solve problems on the spot

  • Happy to work a mix of shifts, including weekends and holidays, because hospitality never sleeps

  • Education in hospitality is great, but your passion and attitude are what really count

  • Fluency in English is essential, and additional languages are always welcome
