Job Description

Job Summery :

The Quality Assurance / Safety / Health Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental performance within the organization. This role ensures compliance with international and local regulations, including ISO, HACCP, NEBOSH, and OSHA standards, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and sustainability across all operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor hotel quality assurance and environmental management programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits of hotel operations (housekeeping, F&B, engineering, spa, etc.) to ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, and environmental standards.
  • Lead initiatives for green practices, waste management, energy efficiency, and eco-friendly operations in alignment with international sustainability benchmarks (ISO 14001, LEED, Green Key, etc.).
  • Prepare detailed audit and inspection reports, track non-conformities, and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.
  • Collaborate with hotel teams to integrate sustainable practices across departments (e.g., energy-saving equipment, water management, waste reduction).
  • Support internal and external audit processes, certification renewals, and compliance inspections by regulatory authorities.
  • Train employees on quality systems, food safety, occupational health & safety, and environmental sustainability standards.
  • Monitor and analyze environmental performance indicators (energy, water, waste, carbon footprint) and recommend continuous improvement measures.
  • Develop and maintain environmental policies and documentation required for certifications and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with international and local hospitality standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, HACCP, and government environmental regulations.

Qualifications

  • ​​​​​Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in quality assurance, environmental management, or health & safety within hospitality or related service industry.

Preferred Certifications:

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor
  • ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems certification
  • HACCP certification (Food Safety Management)
  • Six Sigma (any belt level) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
  • NEBOSH (Occupational Health & Safety Management)
  • OSHA Certification (Occupational Safety & Health Administration)

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance systems and environmental sustainability frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to evaluate operational compliance.
  • Proficiency in preparing technical reports, audit findings, and sustainability documentation.
  • Effective communication and training skills for diverse teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with hotel management/quality tracking systems.
  • English proficiency (reading and writing); additional languages are an advantage.
