Job Description
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will manage the the day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities across the hotel.
What you will be doing:
- Work closely with Culinary, Housekeeping, Front Office and other departments to understand and deliver their purchasing needs.
- Source and purchase food, beverage, operational and general hotel supplies.
- Monitor stock levels, inventory movements and purchasing requirements to ensure appropriate supply.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate competitive pricing and terms.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiencies and maximise value without compromising quality.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A good understanding of inventory and stock control.
- The ability to work independently while being a collaborative member of the wider hotel team.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
