Job Description
Join the team that creates unforgettable first impressions at Manly Pacific. As a Porter, you will be the welcoming face of our luxury beachfront hotel, delivering warm, personalised service from the moment guests arrive. From assisting with luggage and valet parking to sharing local recommendations and escorting guests to their rooms, you will play a key role in ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable stay.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcome and assist guests with arrivals, departures, and luggage services.
- Escort guests to their rooms and provide a personalised introduction to hotel facilities.
- Deliver exceptional service through genuine guest engagement and attention to detail.
- Coordinate the efficient handling of luggage, mail, messages, and guest requests.
- Support VIP arrivals and special guest experiences.
- Assist with valet parking and vehicle retrieval where required.
- Share local knowledge and recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional front entrance and lobby environment.
Qualifications
About You
You are a friendly, energetic, and service-focused professional who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You bring:
- Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality, or guest service role (preferred).
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills with confident spoken and written English.
- Excellent presentation and a warm, welcoming personality.
- Sound knowledge of the local area or a willingness to learn.
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
