Job Description

  • Assist the Engineering Supervisor in maintenance of the Plumbing equipment.
  • Maintain quality of work in order to meet the standards of the company.
  • Responsible for maintenance & minor repairs and adjustments to flush meters, mixing valves, shower heads, faucets, valves, traps, ball cocks etc.
  • Ensure to solve the queries from the guestrooms and internal departments.
  • Responsible for maintenance and adjustments to hot water tanks, preheats, traps, thermostatically controlled regulating valves, vacuum and condense pumps, regulating valves.
  • Ensure to maintain all the equipment used for plumbing as per the guidelines.
  • Prepare estimates for work orders and seek approval from Engineering Supervisor for materials required to complete the job.
  • Responsible for maintenance, minor repairs and adjustments of the steam heating system, direct and indirect; radiators, valves, traps, thermostats pneumatic system for actuating automatic radiator valves, vacuum and condense pumps, regulating valves.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as and when delegated by the Management.
  • Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.
  • Provide effective support to the team to enable them to deliver effective and efficient services.
  • Respond to customer queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Maintain cleanliness in all aspects of the work.


Knowledge and Experience

  • Secondary / High school education
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant hands on experience in area of expertise


  • Service oriented with an eye for details
  • Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
  • Self-motivated and energetic
  • Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
