Job Description

In this newly created position, as our People & Culture Business Partner, you will join our local property People & Culture team and be more than a HR professional - you’ll be a trusted advisor to our teams. Working hand-in-hand with our Heads of Departments, you’ll provide strategic guidance and practical solutions that empower leaders to get the best out of their teams. Your role is about building strong partnerships, influencing decision-making, and ensuring people strategies are seamlessly aligned with business goals.


Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner to hotel leadership, coaching and advising Heads of Departments on people-related matters
  • Collaborate with managers to design and implement workforce plans that support operational success
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organisational development
  • Champion leadership capability by equipping managers with tools and confidence to lead effectively
  • Partner with department heads to identify talent needs, succession planning, and career development opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and industry standards
  • Drive engagement initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention

About You:

We’re looking for someone who thrives on collaboration and influence, with a passion for hospitality and people.

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, Advisor or HR Manager, ideally within hotels or hospitality
  • Strong knowledge of human resources practices, employment law, and workforce planning
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with leaders
  • Able to connect with all levels, approachable, nurturing and available
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills
  • Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
  • This is a part time, 0.8FTE role with flexibility available to suit your work/life balance
