Painter

Painter

Our painters are a vital part of our operation here at Fairmont Chateau Whistler, ensuring property standards are upheld to the highest degree, assisting in hotel-wide maintenance.

Starting Pay Rate: $28.90 per hour.

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $36.40 per hour.

• Assisting with hotel-wide preventative maintenance, including upkeep and repair
• Daily work orders and projects related to various areas of hotel property and grounds
• Maintaining inventory of painting materials and supplies, ensuring stock is orderly at all times
• Active participation in Fairmont Chateau Whistler's sustainability initiatives

• Experience in painting, wall papering, and dry wall patch and repair
• Experience with millwork, furniture staining and refinishing would be an asset
