We are looking for a reliable, welcoming, and detail-oriented Night Receptionist / Night Auditor to join our Front Office team and ensure our guests enjoy a seamless and comfortable experience throughout the night.
Job Description
As our Night Receptionist, you will be the main point of contact for guests during overnight hours, ensuring a warm welcome, efficient service, and a safe and comfortable hotel environment.
You will also be responsible for completing night audit procedures, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing the hotel for the following day's operations.
Your Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests and handle check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests professionally and efficiently.
Provide friendly and attentive guest service throughout the night.
Perform daily night audit procedures, including verifying transactions, payments, and financial records.
Prepare and distribute daily operational and financial reports.
Handle reservations, guest inquiries, telephone calls, and emails.
Process payments and ensure accurate cashiering and billing procedures.
Monitor hotel security and follow established safety and emergency procedures.
Address guest concerns and resolve issues independently whenever possible.
Coordinate with other departments and ensure an accurate handover to the morning team.
Maintain the reception area and uphold Accor's service and brand standards.
Qualifications
Must currently reside in Cyprus and have the legal right to work in Cyprus.
Applicants must hold a valid work permit or other appropriate work authorisation, where applicable.
Please note that the hotel does not provide visa sponsorship, work permit assistance, or accommodation.
Previous experience in hotel reception or a similar guest-facing role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Knowledge of Greek is considered a strong advantage.
Experience with Opera Cloud or another Property Management System (PMS) is an advantage.
Good computer skills and attention to administrative and financial accuracy.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during night shifts.
Strong problem-solving skills and a guest-oriented mindset.
Reliability, professionalism, and excellent organisational skills.
Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
