We are looking for a Night Manager to join the Mondrian team. 


Job Description

As the Night Manager at Mondrian Gold Coast, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless overnight operations of the hotel, managing guest relations, and providing leadership to night staff. You will uphold the brand’s commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational efficiency. Your duties will include:

  • Lead and oversee the night team, including Front Office and concierge ensuring efficient overnight operations and delivering Mondrian’s signature guest experience. 
  • Be the primary point of contact for all guest inquiries, complaints, and emergencies, responding quickly with appropriate solutions to uphold guest satisfaction and safety. 
  • Oversee the nightly audit process, ensuring that all transactions, postings, and financial reports are accurate, and discrepancies are investigated and resolved. 
  • Manage Property Management System, including monitoring and closing open folios and PM account. Ensuring that all charges are accurate, correctly posted and resolved in a timely manner, in line with Mondrian Gold Coast financial standards
  • Serve as the hotel’s representative during night hours, making decisions in the absence of Front Office Manager. 
  • Assisting with check-ins, check-outs, and managing reservations during the night shift. 
  • Lead emergency response efforts, coordinating with security and local authorities to ensure guest and asset safety. 

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in luxury hotels or a similar hospitality setting. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach. 
  • Excellent understanding of luxury hospitality standards, with a focus on delivering modern, culturally immersive, and unforgettable guest experiences. 
  •  Ability to manage a diverse team and foster a positive, forward-thinking work environment. 
  • Strong knowledge of Opera cloud is beneficial.  
  • A passion for creativity and innovation in hospitality, aligned with the Mondrian ethos of being an agent for change. 
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. 
  • Full Australian Working rights are essential
