Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of MICE events, including meetings, conferences, corporate events, and exhibitions.

  • Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure all specifications are met.

  • Liaise with internal departments (catering, audiovisual, housekeeping, security) to ensure smooth event execution.

  • Oversee event setup, operations during the event, and post-event breakdown and evaluation.

  • Manage and train a team of event coordinators and support staff to deliver high-quality service.

  • Monitor event budgets, ensure cost control, and handle billing and invoicing related to MICE events.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies during all events.

  • Handle guest inquiries, resolve any issues promptly, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate records of all MICE activities and prepare regular reports for management.

  • Assist in developing and implementing new processes and strategies to improve MICE operations.


Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in MICE operations or event management, preferably in the hospitality industry.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to event management.
