Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the marketing and communications function of the hotel through administrative tasks, digital content management, and campaign coordination. This role ensures the smooth running of the department by assisting with day-to-day marketing activities, digital updates, and promotional initiatives.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide general administrative support to the Marketing & Communications team.
  • Manage and update property websites (Accor.com, Accor.com.au, third-party sites) ensuring accurate and current content.
  • Support digital marketing tasks including eDM creation, copywriting, design, and deployment.
  • Coordinate photo and video shoots, ensuring brand compliance across assets.
  • Manage and schedule social media content on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Source, curate, and create engaging content to enhance brand storytelling and digital engagement.
  • Maintain the hotel’s global image library with brand-approved imagery.
  • Develop content for promotional campaigns and maintain the marketing calendar.
  • Assist with digital advertising campaigns, coordinating creative assets and compiling performance reports.
  • Update website content, offers, and promotions aligned with brand and seasonal campaigns.
  • Contribute to monthly marketing and social media performance reports.
  • Support PR, sponsorships, partnerships, and competitor research.
  • Maintain hotel collateral and imagery, coordinating photography as needed.
  • Prepare marketing reports, presentations, and undertake ad-hoc marketing tasks and special projects as directed by the Marketing & Communications Manager.

Qualifications

We would love to hear from you, if you: 

  • Have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Strong writing and copy-editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with website management systems and eDM platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles and key performance metrics.
  • Creative flair with the ability to design visuals for digital channels.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with a proactive and collaborative approach.
