Job Description

We're excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a Management Trainee - Food & Beverage to join our dynamic team in Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort, Indonesia. This comprehensive training program is designed to nurture future leaders in the hospitality sector, providing hands-on experience and invaluable insights into various aspects of food and beverage operations.

  • Rotate through different F&B departments to gain a holistic understanding of operations
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of restaurants, bars, and banquet services
  • Learn and implement food safety and hygiene standards across all operational areas
  • Participate in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management processes
  • Engage with guests to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and address concerns promptly
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and productive work environment
  • Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies for F&B outlets
  • Support staff training and development initiatives
  • Analyze key performance metrics and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability
  • Assist in organizing and executing special events and promotions
  • Develop leadership skills through mentorship and hands-on management experiences

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of food and beverage operations and familiarity with hospitality industry trends
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to relocate to Badung, Indonesia for the duration of the training program
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Basic understanding of inventory management and cost control principles
  • Internship or part-time work experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
