Maintenance Officer

We are looking for a Full Time or Part Time Maintenance Officer who will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the hotel, ensuring all guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms and hotel facilities

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns

• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections

• Maintain plant and equipment in line with safety and compliance requirements

• Liaise with external contractors where required

• Support the hotel team to deliver an exceptional guest experience

About You

• Previous experience in hotel or building maintenance (preferred)

• Trade qualification or strong hands-on maintenance experience (advantageous)

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Understanding of WHS and safe work practices

• Flexible availability, including weekends if required

• A positive attitude and team-focused approach
