What you will be doing:

• Repair/preventive maintenance of systems and equipment related to HVACR, Chilled water generation, hot water generation, fire suppression, fire monitoring & control, and power distribution & generation.
• Keeps inventory of supplies and parts for building repairs and critical systems
• Schedule air handler on/off times for schedule functions on the Allerton  energy management system in the central plant
• Swimming pool and Jacuzzi maintenance and repairs as needed
• Schedule air handler on/off times for schedule functions on the Allerton  energy management system in the central plant as well as the Inncom energy management system for the guest rooms.
• Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel

Your experience and skills include:

• Service oriented with an eye for details
• Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
• Self-motivated and energetic
• Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times
• Must have working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and Hot water generation systems including devices such as pressure regulators, solenoid valves, gas valves, electrical relays, etc.
• Must be knowledgeable of OSHA work place safety standards such as PPE, Lock Out Tag Out, Ladder Safety, HAZCOM and similar.
• Visual ability to read manufacturer's instructions, schematics and blueprints.
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and solve customer concerns.
• Stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, seeing, hearing, speaking to guests
• Ability to work under harsh weather conditions, i.e. heat, wind and rain. 
• Lifting requirements up to 25 lbs.
• Carrying of objects weighting up to 50lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License
