About Us:
Novotel Birmingham is a vibrant 4-star hotel in the heart of the city, offering guests exceptional service, modern comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere. Our hotel features a bar and restaurant, 9 versatile meeting rooms, and wellness facilities including a gym, sauna, and steam room. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards across all areas, and we are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Manager to join our team.
Qualifications
The Role:
As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel facilities, systems, and equipment are maintained to the highest standards. You will lead a small maintenance team, oversee planned and reactive maintenance, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards, including LOLER and other statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain all hotel plant, equipment, and building systems.
Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance team.
Ensure timely completion of preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
Monitor and maintain compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations.
Manage maintenance budgets and supplier contracts effectively.
Contribute to creating a safe, comfortable, and high-quality environment for guests and staff.
