Job Description

  • Support the Engineering team in the day to day maintenance of equipment and physical structure of the hotel; in a safe, efficient and professional manner, ensuring all standards are followed
  • Complete ongoing, preventive maintenance, and repair for guest rooms, public areas, mechanical equipment, refrigeration and safety systems, working closely with other departments and campus associations
  • Promptly and immediately respond to maintenance requests for guests, residents and Heartists using department programs for tracking and accountability
  • Repair, maintain and inspect plumbing, physical structure, electrical wiring and fixtures, machinery, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, spa, kitchen and laundry equipment, in accordance with blue prints, manuals, and building codes, using hand and power tools, carpenter, electrician, and plumbing tools.
  • Light carpentry including furniture repairs and wall paneling touch ups
  • Light paint including Heart of House upkeep and preventive maintenance

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:          

  • Technical Trade School Certifications (HVAC or Electrical or Plumbing) or relevant bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with CMMS programs is a plus
  • Prior experience in Hotel Maintenance engineering preferred
