Purpose

As the Maintenance All Rounder, you will be the go‑to problem solver, ready to tackle any repair, upkeep, or improvement task that comes your way. With a sharp eye for spotting small issues before they turn into big headaches, you keep the property running smoothly and safely. Armed with your trusted tools and a can‑do attitude, you move confidently between a variety of jobs, ensuring every corner of the property remains in excellent condition.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure all public areas, facilities, and amenities are opened on time, beautifully presented, and fully operational for guests.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks efficiently, keeping the property safe, functional, and looking its best at all times.
• Take pride in maintaining outdoor spaces with general gardening duties, pool upkeep, and occasional cleaning tasks as needed.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, contractor work, maintenance costs, and equipment servicing, helping the property stay organised and compliant.
• Liaise confidently with contractors, suppliers, and other departments to ensure jobs are completed smoothly and safely.
• Deliver warm, friendly, and helpful service to guests, assisting with enquiries or minor issues while ensuring privacy and safety procedures are always followed.

Skills & Experience

• Comfortable in a physical role, have a get-up-and-go attitude and be someone who won’t stop until the job is completed in a safe and presentable manner.
• Practical building‑trade abilities with basic knowledge across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to juggle tasks and prioritise what needs attention first.
• A collaborative communicator who enjoys working with guests, contractors, and property teams such as Housekeeping and Front Office.
• High personal integrity with a proactive, hands‑on approach and a genuine passion for property upkeep and hotel operations.
