Job Description

Raffles & Fairmont Doha, a part of Accor's prestigious portfolio, is dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. Our team is passionate about creating memorable moments for our guests and fostering an environment of excellence. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning & Development Executive to join our team and help shape our future leaders.

Position Overview:

The Learning & Development Executive will play a key role in enhancing the skills and capabilities of our team members through effective training and development programs. This role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating learning initiatives that align with the strategic goals of Raffles & Fairmont Doha. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality training and a passion for developing talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Program Development:

    • Design, develop, and deliver engaging and impactful training programs tailored to the needs of various departments and roles within the organization.
    • Ensure all training materials and content are up-to-date and relevant to current industry standards and organizational goals.
  2. Needs Assessment:

    • Conduct regular needs assessments to identify training gaps and development opportunities.
    • Collaborate with department heads and managers to determine specific training requirements and priorities.
  3. Training Delivery:

    • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring a high level of engagement and effectiveness.
    • Utilize a variety of training methods and tools, including e-learning platforms, to deliver content.
  4. Evaluation and Feedback:

    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
    • Implement improvements based on feedback and training outcomes to continuously enhance the learning experience.
  5. Talent Development:

    • Support the development of individual career paths and succession plans within the organization.
    • Mentor and coach team members to achieve their professional growth and career objectives.
  6. Compliance and Standards:

    • Ensure that all training initiatives comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
    • Maintain accurate records of training activities and participant progress.
  7. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the HR team to integrate learning and development strategies with overall HR initiatives and organizational goals.
    • Partner with external vendors and training providers as needed to enhance the learning offerings.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a Learning & Development role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of training and development methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to assess training needs and develop tailored programs.
  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
