Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily laundry operations and team activities.
- Ensure guest laundry, hotel linen, uniforms, and other items are processed accurately and on time.
- Monitor washing, drying, pressing, folding, and finishing standards.
- Inspect linen and uniforms for cleanliness, stains, damage, and quality.
- Allocate daily duties and monitor team performance and productivity.
- Ensure proper use, cleaning, and basic maintenance of laundry equipment.
- Monitor laundry chemicals, supplies, and linen inventory to minimize wastage.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety, and chemical handling.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely linen and uniform requirements.
- Train and coach team members on laundry procedures, quality standards, and safe working practices.
- Report equipment breakdowns, linen shortages, damages, and operational issues to management.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a hotel laundry operation, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Good knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals, linen handling, and finishing processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a diverse team.
- Previous experience in an international hotel brand is preferred.
