The Island Chapter
Luura begins its journey in Paros with two distinct yet connected expressions.
Luura Paros Cliff, opening May 2026, features 39 thoughtfully designed rooms set above the sea.
One year later, Luura Paros Sand follows with 49 additional rooms and a collection of vibrant food and social spaces that capture another rhythm of the island.
Your Role in the Story
As a Kitchen Steward at LUURA, you are a vital part of the kitchen team, ensuring that all dishes, equipment, and work areas are spotless, organized, and ready for seamless daily operations. Your attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and detail supports chefs, F&B teams, and ultimately the guest experience. You play a hands-on role in maintaining the kitchen’s smooth operation, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate washing equipment and machinery in line with company protocols.
- Wash, disinfect, and sanitize dishes, glasses, cutlery, and cooking equipment.
- Clean workstations, food storage areas, and cooking areas according to food safety regulations.
- Maintain clean surfaces and walls in the kitchen and dishwashing areas by following standard procedures.
- Ensure kitchen and restaurant staff have necessary supplies and restock where required.
- Handle cutlery and crockery carefully and record any breakages.
- Maintain waste bins and ensure proper disposal.
- Keep surfaces dry and clean at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Follow all sanitation guidelines and maintain a hygienic workspace.
- Assist chefs and other kitchen staff as needed.
- Carry out general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and emptying rubbish bins.
- Check chemical levels and inventory regularly.
- Report any maintenance, damage, or hazard issues to the Head Chef promptly.
- Maintain records of daily – weekly – monthly cleaning schedules
Who We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in kitchen stewarding, dishwashing, or food service hygiene is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and cleaning procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Physically fit and capable of performing standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks.
- Attention to detail, responsibility, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Team-oriented with a positive, cooperative approach.
- Eligible to work in an EU country.
