Kitchen Attendant

Conveniently located amongst Sydney’s CBD, Darling Harbour, Darling Square and ICC precincts at Novotel Sydney Darling Square we are looking for a Kitchen Attendant to join our team.

As a Kitchen Attendant you will work as part of a team to keep the hotel kitchens and washing up areas clean and tidy, with great opportunity to learn and expand your skills.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, have attention to detail, and have a passion for giving guests an exceptional experience.

What you will be doing:

• Assisting with basic food preparation duties with opportunities to learn
• Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitising of all surfaces
• Keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction
• Responsible operation of kitchen cleaning equipment.

What we are looking for 

• Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• You will have a keen eye for detail 
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene (Basic Food Safety Certificate under Australian standards is an advantage)
