Job Description
We are seeking reliable Kitchen Attendant to support our kitchen and food & beverage operations.
About the Role
As a Kitchen Attendant, you will play an essential role in supporting the kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and smooth back-of-house operations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
- Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure efficient turnaround of kitchenware
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation as required
- Ensure waste disposal and recycling are managed correctly
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards at all times
- Support kitchen setup, cleaning routines, and procedures during the pre-opening phase
- Assist with stock handling, deliveries, and storage
- Work collaboratively with the Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams
Qualifications
About You
- Previous experience in a kitchen or similar role (preferred but not essential)
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen team members
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
