Job Description
We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, as our new Journeyperson HVAC. Your care and attention to detail will ensure that our guests have a memorable stay in the Canadian Rockies.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for all HVAC related trade work at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge
- Responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of all HVAC equipment
- Preventative maintenance of equipment pertaining to HVAC
- Ensure all work done in the HVAC department is in compliance with federal and provincial codes and regulations
- Ensure all power tools are in good and safe working conditions
- Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule based on volume of business
- Train and assist the shift maintenance colleagues
- Assist other trades as they relate to HVAC maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- High school and/or technical school education required
- Provincial Journeyperson’s certificate for Province of Alberta required
- Background HVAC experience or general knowledge of the trade required
- Gas Fitting Ticket an asset
- Valid Alberta driver’s license required
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
