As an In-Room Dining Cashier providing warm service, efficiency and knowledge of our menu offerings to both guests and Colleagues, you will add value to every transaction! 

What you will be doing:   

Reporting to the Outlet Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Deliver professional, friendly, and engaging guest service by answering phones, assisting with order placement, and upselling menu items while maintaining full knowledge of all menu offerings and preparation methods.
• Coordinate and expedite in-room dining orders and daily amenities to ensure accurate and timely delivery to guests.
• Process guest checks, balance and remit daily float, and accurately log, track, and distribute gratuities to servers.
• Support team operations by delegating calls, assisting with server duties as required, and taking an active role in training and development of new and existing staff.
•  Perform opening, closing, and cleaning duties to maintain smooth daily operations and service standards.
• Follow outlet policies, safety and sanitation procedures, and hotel vehicle handling guidelines while performing assigned duties.
• Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions
• Foster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected 
• Other duties as assigned. 

Your experience and skills include: 

• Minimum 1 year Food and Beverage experience required within the last 2 years  
• Previous leadership experience required  
• Successful completion of Food and Beverage test required 80% and above.  
• Previous In Room Dining service experience is an asset 
• Valid Alberta Driver’s License is required 
• Pro Serve certificate required 
• Previous Point of Sale System is required  
• Property Manager experience an asset 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills 

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
