About you
- You have a commitment to providing exceptional experiences for our guests.
- Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated results in developing and motivating teams, your lead by example approach will be infectious.
- Lead team members to achieve high standards of cleanliness for guest rooms, public areas and back of house areas within the hotel.
- Have high standards of grooming and presentation.
- Be available and flexible to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and on weekends.
What you will be doing?
- Assist with ordering of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, printing and, stationary.
- Conduct daily operational briefings effectively
- Assist in ensuring rooms are turned around to meet guest needs
- Allocate daily duties to Housekeeping staff, monitor their performance, cleanliness standards, presentation of guest rooms and, assist them in their duties as required.
- Conduct training for new team members and refresher training for existing employees
- Supervise team members within the department, ensuring that the correct standards and procedures are maintained
- Assist in the development of team members and the effectiveness of all Housekeeping team members through appropriate training, coaching and/or mentoring
