Perfectly positioned as the gateway to the Dandenong Ranges, the Yarra Valley Food & Wine District, the Mornington Peninsula, Phillip Island, and in the heart of lively Glen Waverley, our hotel attracts both business and leisure travellers seeking comfort, convenience, and exceptional service.

We are now seeking an experienced and driven Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team.


Job Description

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring our property is presented to the highest standard of cleanliness, organisation, and guest readiness. You will support the Housekeeping Assistant Manager in guiding the team, maintaining procedures, and ensuring our guests enjoy a consistently outstanding stay.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Assistant Housekeeping Manager in the daily checking of rooms and designated team member areas to maintain standards
  • Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure they meet the hotel’s cleanliness and maintenance standards
  • Train, mentor, and support housekeeping team members to ensure consistency and productivity
  • Handle guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping services
  • Ensure the efficient use of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Report and follow up on maintenance issues to ensure quick resolution
  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies, hygiene procedures, and safe work practices
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation process and standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills in a multicultural environments
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Knowledge of hotel-specific cleaning procedures and safety protocol is a plus
