Job Description

Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:             

  • Ensuring excellence in room cleaning standards each time in order to enhance our guest experience.
  • Clean all assigned guest rooms including: dusting, making beds, soiled linen removal from rooms, and retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenish rooms with supplies.
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
  • A positive can do attitude.
  • Good level of physical fitness and ability. 
  • Highly responsible & reliable.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with ease.
  • Works well under pressure and to timelines. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both individually and part of a wider team.
