As part-time Housekeeping/Room Attendant, you will be reporting to the Executive Housekeeper/Assistant Housekeeping Manager/Rooms Division Manager. You’ll play a key role in keeping our hotel clean, comfortable and welcoming.
As part of our Housekeeping team—the heartbeat of the guest experience—you’ll ensure guest rooms are fresh, tidy and ready to impress. Your eye for detail and commitment to high standards will help create memorable stays for everyone who visits us.
Room Attendant’s Key Duties:
- Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and hallways to a high standard
- Replace towels, toiletries, and other room items so every room is guest-ready
- Report any lost property or broken items to Housekeeping Supervisors
- Use cleaning tools and chemicals safely and correctly
- Ensure the security of keys and guest rooms at all times by adherence to security procedures.
- Follow Work Health & Safety (WHS) procedures and best practices at all times, helping maintain a safe environment for both team members and guests
- Represent the hotel in a warm and professional manner when encountering guests, creating a positive impression through courteous and friendly interactions.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, works safely, and takes pride in their work. You understand that your role is part of a larger team effort to keep the hotel running smoothly and ensure a great experience for our guests. Our ideal candidate is:
A team player who works well with others
Able to follow instructions and also work independently
Friendly and respectful to guests and team members
Comfortable with physically active work and able to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
Able to work safely and take care of their body by following safe manual handling practices
Detail-oriented and takes pride in doing things right
Flexible to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
