Job Description
Join our vibrant team and be part of delivering exceptional service in a premium airport lounge environment. We’re currently hiring for the following roles:
Available Positions:
- Lounge Runners (Food & Beverage Attendants)
- Shower Hosts/Cleaners
Key Responsibilities - varies depending on your position:
- Deliver memorable service experiences to all Qantas Lounge guests
- Clear tables and maintain clean, tidy service areas, including buffet stations
- Support barista, bar, and A La Carte service (for experienced team members)
- Serve beverages using tray service with efficiency and care
- Load/unload service trolleys with glassware, cutlery, plates, and crockery
- Collaborate with Front of House, Culinary, and Stores teams
- Carry and balance trays while maintaining speed and accuracy
- Represent the iconic Qantas brand with professionalism and impeccable presentation
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and presentation
- Perform cleaning duties and tasks across the lounges
- Promote a safe workplace by identifying hazards and following WHS practices
Qualifications
Whilst technical experience is of importance to us, to be considered for the role, you will have the following:
- A friendly, customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
- Initiative to ensure positive, intuitive, and efficient guest interactions.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification.
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
- Confidence liaising with internal and external clients.
- High standards of grooming and personal presentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, team-oriented, guest-centric mindset.
- Flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
- Full working rights in Australia.
