Job Description

  • Provide leadership for the Hotels' Health, Safety and Environment strategies, development, improvements and implementation.
  • Manage online incident/accident reporting, ensuring all incidents are investigated and hazards minimized or eliminated.
  • Manage workplace accident reporting, claims and rehabilitation within the relevant legislation.
  • Act as WHS and Crisis committee secretary, set agenda, take and distribute minutes.
  • Assist in developing and implementing emergency response procedures and evacuation plans.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a Health & Safety role within the Hospitality environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and commercial awareness.
  • Thorough understanding of New Zealand Occupational Health & Safety legislation.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication.

Additional Information

This is a fixed-term full-time role available from December 2024 to December 2025.

A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $82,000 with access to the suite of Accor's Heartist Benefits:
