We are seeking a dedicated Guest Service Associate - Housekeeping to join our team in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel.
- Ensure guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
- Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests and concerns
- Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless service
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
- Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols
- Assist in training new team members on housekeeping procedures
- Participate in regular quality inspections to maintain service standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Contribute to the overall guest experience through exceptional service and attention to detail
- Proven experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong customer service skills with a guest-centric approach
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate across departments
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures
- Experience with property management systems (e.g., Opera) is a plus
- Basic computer skills for managing schedules and reports
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry and current cleaning standards is preferred
