Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate - F&B Service to join our team in Mumbai, India. As a key member of our food and beverage department, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their comfort throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, demonstrating thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, adhering to established service standards
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to requests or concerns
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, service stations, and equipment
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions with attention to detail
  • Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service quality and product knowledge
  • Adapt to changing customer demands and peak service periods with flexibility and efficiency

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on anticipating and meeting guest needs
  • Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
  • Proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Certification from a reputable culinary or hospitality school is a plus
  • Familiarity with local cuisine and international food trends is advantageous
