Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Guest Relation Host/Hostess to serve as our Lobby Ambassador in Baghdad, Iraq. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and professional first impression
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve issues
  • Maintain the lobby area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
  • Assist with luggage handling and directions when needed
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and collect feedback to improve service quality
  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and managing reservations
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management software
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are highly valued
  • Familiarity with local culture and customs in Baghdad, Iraq
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
