Job Description

We are seeking a GSA for our Front Office team at ibis Styles Mysuru, India. As a GSA, you will be the cornerstone of our guests' experience, creating memorable moments from the very first interaction. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your dedication to exceptional service and attention to detail directly impact guest satisfaction and loyalty. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality expertise while working collaboratively with a supportive team committed to delivering outstanding service excellence.

  • Greet guests with a warm, professional demeanor and provide engaging, courteous service throughout their stay
  • Execute efficient check-in and check-out procedures while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage guest inquiries regarding room amenities, hotel services, and local attractions in an informative and helpful manner
  • Operate reservation and property management systems with proficiency and accuracy
  • Address guest concerns and complaints with empathy and decisiveness, working toward swift resolutions
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and service standards, ensuring consistent application
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure seamless service delivery
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while remaining organized and composed during peak periods
  • Uphold all safety, security, and sanitation protocols in accordance with hotel standards
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by supporting colleagues and sharing best practices
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times, representing the hotel's brand values

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to focus attention on guest needs while remaining calm, courteous, and professional under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English; multilingual skills are a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a diverse team
  • Proficiency with computer systems and reservation/property management software (training provided)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in guest records and transactions
  • Resilience and adaptability when handling challenging situations with grace and professionalism
  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification or front office experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards is advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative while remaining responsive to team needs
