Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused GSA (Guest Service Associate) - Front Office to join our dynamic team in Mysuru, India. As the welcoming face of our organization, you will be instrumental in creating memorable first impressions and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment where your dedication to service excellence directly impacts guest satisfaction and organizational success.

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a positive and professional first impression of our hotel
  • Efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, events, and amenities to assist guests effectively
  • Collaborate seamlessly with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure cohesive guest experiences
  • Process room reservations, modifications, and cancellations accurately using the hotel management system
  • Handle cash transactions with precision and maintain accurate financial records and reconciliation
  • Keep the front desk area organized, clean, and presentable at all times, reflecting our commitment to excellence
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency
  • Adapt flexibly to changing priorities and guest needs, demonstrating resilience and decisiveness
  • Provide personalized recommendations and local insights to enhance guest stays and encourage repeat visits

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a front office, guest services, or similar hospitality role
  • Excellent reading, writing, and verbal proficiency in English language
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software
  • Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle guest concerns with grace and professionalism
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Ability to speak additional languages and basic understanding of local languages (preferred)
  • Customer service certification or hospitality training (preferred)
  • Experience with PMS (Property Management System) platforms (preferred)

Additional Information

Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Fluency in English
Additional languages are a plus
