Job Description

Reception Team Leader – Join Our Front Office Leadership Team!

Are you ready to take the next step in your hospitality career? We’re looking for a dedicated Reception Team Leader to join our front office team. In this dynamic role, you’ll work a variety of shifts, including Receptionist, while regularly stepping up as Shift Leader or Hotel Duty Manager.

In this role, you will:

  • Warmly welcome guests and provide ongoing support and leadership to the Reception team.

  • Deliver exceptional guest service with a friendly, approachable manner that reflects our brand values.

  • Lead daily front desk operations, ensuring all team members understand and follow departmental policies and procedures.

  • Supervise and motivate the team to consistently meet service standards and create memorable guest experiences.

  • Respond promptly to guest concerns, taking ownership and following up with relevant departments to ensure satisfaction.

  • Communicate daily priorities to your team, helping personalize the service experience for every guest.

  • Tech confident – You know your way around OPERA Cloud or similar hotel systems, and you’re comfortable using tools to streamline processes and improve service.

  • Coach at heart – You’re passionate about helping others succeed, assisting with training, mentoring new team members, and lifting the team to new heights.

Must-haves:

  • Full legal working rights in Australia (including a current full-time work visa)

  • A valid South Australia RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)

  • A current and valid RP Badge (Responsible Person)

  • Up-to-date First Aid & CPR certification
