Mercure Amsterdam City is looking for a Front Office Supervisor!

Are you looking for a job where you will be given a lot of responsibility? As a Front Office Supervisor, you support the Front Office Manager and ensure that our guests have a fantastic stay at our hotel. You are the face of Mercure Amsterdam City and the first point of contact for our hotel guests.


Job Description

You organize the daily tasks of the team, ensure smooth operations, and proactively think about areas for improvement. You enjoy leading in a coaching manner and sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm. You handle any complaints and make decisions when needed.

You foster team spirit and contribute to the department’s results by coming up with creative and innovative ideas and by identifying opportunities and challenges in a timely manner. You are also responsible for the registration, administration, and evaluation of your shift, which you report to the Front Office Manager. You communicate easily with other departments and radiate confidence to your team.


Qualifications

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an energetic, cheerful, and passionate colleague. You remain calm under pressure and work together with your team to ensure all our guests have an unforgettable stay.

We require at least…

  • 3 years of work experience in Front Office
  • Extensive knowledge of PMS/Opera Cloud
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibly available (mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends)
  • Skilled in administrative tasks
  • Work accurately and independently

Of course, you are hospitable and service-oriented, and you enjoy working as part of a team. Is it busy and a bit chaotic? Then you are in your element, as you are able to maintain order with your excellent planning and organizational skills.

  • Salary according to scale 6 of the Hospitality CLA, starting from €2,793.70 (based on full-time employment);
