INSPIRED BY HISTORY

The authentic colonial-era design and ornate furnishings of La Veranda are a tribute to founder Madame Catherine’s storied family connection to Phú Quôc and Indochine.

Raised in Phnom Penh and on the picturesque waterways surrounding Tonlé Sap Lake, Madame Catherine spent decades travelling the world before returning to build a home for her retirement on the idyllic island of her ancestors.

Her childhood during the height of French rule inspired every detail in her designs for an authentic 1920s French colonial-style mansion – La Veranda’s charming main house.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Captain to join our Front Office team.

Your Mission

As a Front Office Captain, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the front desk. You will guide and support the team in delivering seamless arrivals and departures, personalized guest experiences, and professional handling of guest inquiries.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and support Front Office team members during shifts

• Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and quick resolution of concerns

• Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs efficiently

• Train and motivate team members, leading by example with Heartist values

• Handle check-in/check-out procedures and support VIP guest arrivals

• Maintain a professional and welcoming lobby environment

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar supervisory role

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus

• Strong organizational and leadership skills

• Passionate about hospitality and guest engagement

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
