Job Description

 

Job Title: Front Desk Agent 

Location: St Andrews, Fife

Contract: Full-time

 

First impressions are everything! As Front Desk Agent, you will take care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure by ensuring they have a memorable experience with us.

Our absolute focus is delivering a personalised, luxury experience to all guests, building relationships and anticipating their every need. If you believe you are the right person for this role then we want to hear from you.

 

A little bit about what you will be doing:

  • Greet, check-in, respond to requests and settle accounts while providing exceptional service
  • Take initiative to add a personalised experience
  • Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest’s stay through up-selling
  • Ensure all guest information is correct and entered into Property Manger correctly
  • To be able to perform a variety of administration tasks including guest correspondence and reporting tasks
  • To actively promote the Fairmont Brand through adhering to our mission statement and values

Qualifications

  • Service focused personality is essential; experience is an asset
  • Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
