Job Description

Food Stores ensures the smooth and efficient running of the Food & Liquor Stores, achieving maximum employee job satisfaction while adhering to the standards required by the Hotel. Attendants will generally work in the beverage area and general supplies area.

Starting Rate: $19.57 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $25.28.

Job Duties Include: 

Reporting to the Procurement & Inventory Supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure all items are properly unloaded and stored in the correct location
  • Maintaining exceptional rotation of products, First in First out
  • Maintain a perpetual inventory on all products
  • Fill all outlet orders and requisitions accurately
  • Assist with all inventory counts
  • Assist the Receiving department with paperwork retrieval and delivery to departments
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of food and beverage products
  • Previous warehouse experience an asset
  • Knowledge of Birch Street  (Inventory Software)
  • Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast paced environment
  • Must be a team player and have excellent organizational skills
  • High School diploma

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Lifting and Carrying: Over 100lbs everyday
  • Pushing Pulling: Over 150lbs everyday
  • Repetitive Motions: Reaching, Walking, Standing, Lifting heavy objects
